(Arts/Performance) INISH, formed in 2004, is the newest of the dance groups at the '62 Center for Theater and Dance. In the Gaelic language, Inish has two meanings: 'island' and 'to tell,' and as an island of Irish stepdance, music, and storytelling on Williams campus, INISH is dedicated to spreading a little bit of Irish culture here in Massachusetts. As well as concerts at the '62 Center, INISH also performs for the community in local venues and hosts ceilidhs, or traditional Irish dances, where we welcome everyone and anyone to come and learn a little step dancing. INISH also has its own band, CREOL, that provides live Celtic music on traditional instruments such as the mandolin, Celtic harp, and bodhrán. please visit or contact director Holly Silva (
