Movies at the Museum: Images at WCMA

Between exhibitions, the galleries will be empty and the walls a blank slate. So WCMA is teaming up with Images Cinema to bring you pictures of the moving variety with a lineup of films about art in the making.

Doors open at 6:30, the films start at 7pm, and end with chats led by local film buffs. Empty does mean empty, so don’t count on any chairs. BYO sleeping bag, yoga mat, or other lounging device of choice, and curl up on the gallery floor.

Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry

China’s famous international artist has touched the lives of people all over the world through his art, activism, and digital presence. This documentary provides a detailed portrait of an out-spoken dissident who has faced many challenges, from censorship to physical harm.
