Abstract: What happens to a light ray in a box of mirrors? Does the orbit fill the box or is it periodic? We will prove Kronecker's theorem in one dimension then use it to answer the reflected ray question. Moving the problem to the torus we can show that rays with irrational slope eventually pass arbitrarily close to any point in the box.
