 Flattening Peak Electricity Demand in Smart BuildingsJeannie Albrecht is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Williams College, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research focuses broadly on computer systems, including distributed systems, mobile and wide-area networks, operating systems, and green computing. She received a PhD in Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2007, an MS in Computer Science from Duke University in 2003, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Gettysburg College in 2001. Jeannie is a 2009 recipient of a National Science Foundation CAREER Award. She was born and raised in Baltimore, MD.
