Abstract: College football is a multibillion dollar industry followed by tens of millions of fans. The pinnacle of the college football season is the Bowl Championship Series, in which the top ranked teams in college football are paired up to play in one final playoff game. But how do you compare two teams that have not played each other or similar teams? We will take a look at two possible solutions using directed networks and random walks.
